WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2018, Hippo is a student-run literary and arts magazine at Yale University. We accept all kinds of creative writing, from poetry and prose to plays, and art of any medium. We're a tight-knit community who loves stories, and with our workshop-centered process, we aim to foster a collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to grow and challenge one other, no matter their stage in their creative journeys.
If you're looking for somewhere to carve out your own story, Hippo is the place for you. So take the leap and submit! We can't wait to read your work.
